Dog-Friendly Coffee Shops
We absolutely love getting up to watch the sunrise from the beach or boardwalk. And the only thing that makes that better is a cup of coffee in our hands. Grab your favorite beverage from one of these dog-friendly coffee shops in Asbury Park.
Asbury Park Roastery (Convention Hall location)
Located in Convention Hall, AP Roastery is a prime location to grab a cup of coffee and stroll down the boardwalk. Or take a seat at their indoor patio. Your pup might also get a sweet treat!
The Asbury Hotel
The entire lobby of The Asbury Hotel is pet-friendly, including its snack/coffee bar The Counter. Grab a coffee and a bite to eat and relax in their spacious lobby, complete with spacious tables and games, where they often hold events and live music.

Located on Memorial Drive, a 15 minute walk from the boardwalk, Booskerdoo offers a space to “park” your dog outside while you get your coffee inside. Adirondack chairs out front and several small tables on the parking lot side offer several seating options for you and your dog.
Dog-Friendly Boardwalk Spots
One of the best things to do on a fall or spring day is walk along the boardwalk, taking in the sights and smells of the ocean and boardwalk shops. There are plenty of spots to grab food or drinks when hunger strikes and fortunately, your dog can join you at many of them. Below are dog-friendly restaurants on the Asbury Park boardwalk for you to enjoy on your next visit. Just keep in mind, dogs are NOT allowed on the boardwalk during peak season, mid-May through mid-September.

Enjoy a sit-down meal at The Break or head next door to the boardwalk bar Low Dive for a more laid-back, beachy vibe with frequent live music. Both restaurants offer patio seating facing the ocean where your dog is welcome.
